I recently stayed at the charming Crossing Cottage in Staythorpe for a weekend getaway while my wife hosted her friends. The isolated setting was perfect for me, allowing me to enjoy late-night guitar practice. The cottage itself is very spacious, making it ideal for families with children or a gathering of friends. The kitchen and bathrooms were impressive, and all three bedrooms were ensuite. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the large garden next to the fields provided a beautiful view. a highly recommended accommodation option with superb quality.

The rooms were spacious and well decorated, and the beds were super comfy. The large garden provided a lovely space to relax, and the ample parking was a bonus. The host kept in touch but gave us privacy, which we appreciated. The location was great, with nice pubs nearby and the town of Southwell just a short drive away. we highly recommend this quality accommodation.

The instructions for the coffee machine were a bit complicated, but once we figured it out, the coffee was delicious. Additionally, the visibility when exiting the property onto the road was poor, and a mirror would have been helpful to see oncoming traffic.
